Monday was a momentous day at no. 48 as R. v. excitedly cracked open a bottle of the newly homebrewed 'Bali Belter'! Woooooeeeeeeeee. And it was actually pretty darn good! I compared it to Fursty Ferret but i'm no ale expert. Anyways, we drank two big bottles of the stuff (and on a school nite, tsk tsk). R. is now moving on to lager brewing, in readiness for summer. Ale in the winter, lager in the summer. And so the laundry room continues to double up as the brewing room... sigh, how i'm meant to do my housewifely duties under such conditions, i do not know.
